....he stopped  trying to open the door  leading into  the  corridor,  he heard the heavy footsteps  dragging  some  thing , he realized they were coming  towards the same room  in which he had broken in, there was no place to hide,  he switched off his dim torch  and  glued himself  to the farthest darkest corner in the empty room,  because  the men were not aware of his presence  they just opened the door  three the limp body and without bothering to turn the  lights  or check  the room  shut it again
