.....east India company  came forward  like a clever fox to help the blinded old emperor,  promising to give him one million pound yearly allowance,  but the emperor was dead,  it was then amidst the falling walls  that akbar  shah was crowned, , he demanded  all the benefits the blind old emperor was promised,  all the perks  that he was entitled to as the British and shah alam had  signed up  the written treaty
