-beghum asked  if   he  was  interested in seeing  naik shah, he  showed  curiosity , she  pulled  out  her gold  chain  from around  her  wine   glass  neck  , opening  the  locket  of  gold  she  covered  it  from one  side  with her  hand  and  opened  the  other  side  that  held  a  tiny  round  mirror, , she  showed  it  to  shehzi , who  looked  at  his  own  reflection  remarking  it  was  him, she  then  turned  the  pendant  on  its  other  side  carefully  opening  another  latch  to  uncover  a  picture  , looking  at  it  shehzi  was  dumfounded, again it  was  him but  it  was  not  his picture,   naik  shah  was  his  reflection, identical  image  that  had  made  the  beghum fall down  unconscious  the  first  time  they had  met, something  that  was  puzzling  him all this  time  , it  was  now  solved
