-she  returned  home  quite  dazed , sleepwalking, memerized, stiff  like  she  was  hypnotized,   nadim called  her  so  many  times  out  of  her  that  strange  reverie  , but  she  was  not  listening, not  heeding, not  attentive, finally  nadim gave  her  a  shake  holding  her  hands, he  demanded  what  was  wrong  with  her, why  was  she  so  late  from college,   she  could  only  whisper  questioningly  was  she  alive  or  dead, was  this  for  real  of  a  dream, in a  trance like   condition
