2008, December--Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifah was greatly respected for his sense of justice and remarkable wisdom--One day a man came running asking for his advice, he wanted to carve out a window in his wall that was his property, but the over clever neighbour took the Qazi in his confidence and stopped him from opening the window, The Hazrat advised him that if it was his wall he could open a window or a door on the condition his sole purpose was good ventilation and not prying into the house of the wicked neighbour, but the Qazi Ibn Laila intervened , The Hazrat advised the righteous man to pull down the wall and The Hazrat said he would readily pay for the damages, The owner got ready to pull down his boubdary wall , this time the Qazi also had to agree that he was the rightful owner and could not be refused or rejected his rightful appeals of opening up a window for ventilation or could be ever challenged from taking apart to pieces his own property--this time under the guidance of the Hazrat both neighbours went away peacefully contented
