frank carrighan in the woods hides for over many days ,monitoring the ghost house , inspecting various approaches , the sheriff wanted full report till one dusky evening he observes four men pulling a stretcher apparantly a dead corpse wrapped in a white sheet tied to it, the men disappear through the door, frank follows them in soundlessly , the room was empty,
