Mother  decided  what others  should  do, how  one  should  behave  and  lead  a  life, she  controlled  the  kitchen, the  purse  strings,  prepared  the  menu  regardless  of  others  choices, accepted  or  rejected  invites, which  one  would  get  a  gift  parcel  , who  gets  an envelop  with  wishes  and  cash, token  money, which  friends  were  to  be  encouraged, who  were  to  be  allowed   to  be  friends, what  to  wear, when and  why  , if  father  disagreed  she  raised  her  voice  screaming  schouting   abusively  so  the  entire  colony  knew  there  was  war  in house
