his  mother  sends  him letters  often though  he  usually  talks  to her  on phone, she  seemd  to  get  lots  of  satisfaction  pouring  out  her  heart  in her  letters, telling him he was  engaged  to  maliha , to  save  just  enough  and  return home, for  home  was  where  relatives  were, he  exactly  knew  what  was  on her  mind  she  feared  he  would  be  hooked  by  some  white  woman not  knowing  how in his  homeland  people  waited  to hook tourists, and  empty their  pockets, but  his  mother  was  simple  hearted  who  still believed a  crow  on the  terrace  was  a  sign of  a  guest  arriving  soon
