after  the  battle  of  panipat  akber  was  still in delhi  , when he  was  informed  that  khwaja  was  defeated  and  he  was  in lahore, pathan forces  were  sent  to  lahore, when akber  reached  jalandhar  alexander  had   reached  shivalik  hills
