like a lost bird
i saw
between us
widened distances
drowned love in shadows
in their eyes unfathomed
complaining
distrusting
that far away distant look
love clad in black gloom
approached
to explain
to reveal
i saw my love
intently
watching around
exhausted aimless search
ego stopped
placing itself in between
a silent prayer
pained heart
love distributing
but for me
no place in his heart
eyes intense
what intensity
unlistening
what desires
or was it a broken dream
fragments of shattered love
that evening dampened eyes
love turned its back quietly
deep silence seeped in
i saw my love going away
very quietly unobserved
