the  two   travelers  reached  hazrat  ali  to  solve  their  case,  they  had  eight  gold  coins  , they  were  unable  to  divide  them between them,  the  man  with three  rotis  wanted  more  than three coins  , what  an  amzing   brainy  genius   the  hazrat  was  to solve  it  quickly  and  easily 

every  roti  was  broken  into  three pieces,  , in total  twenty  four   pieces  were  eaten , each one  ate   eight  pieces , of  thre  rotis   nine  pieces  were  calculated  of  which  he  himself  consumed  eight  , so  just  one  piece  of  his  roti  was  shared  by  the  third traveller,   , of  five  rotis  fifteen pieces  were  made,  eight   eaten by  the  owner  seven were  shared,

that  way  contribution of  one  piece  of  roti  was  not  equal  to   whole  roti    but for  sharing  he  was  given  one  coin that  the  traveler  accepted  happily  with understanding
