it  was  mid  day,  the  detective  watched  the  street  very  carefully  , there  were ninetten people  he  counted, four  old  veterans  , two  women  round  the  corner, two  more  near  them, gossiping,  three youngsters  on their  cycles, four  young  girls   near  the  cars, two  men  in the  godown  and  two  more  in the  laundry
