she  was  observing  critically  , scrutinizing  aliza  who  had  come  late  , her  eyes  were  swollen  red, her  usual  natural  happy  self  was  lost  , she  looked  completely  miserable  during   the  lecture,  this  was  not  the  aliza  they  knew, she  had  a  care  free  spontanity  , full of  life  , taking life  as  it  unfolded
