families are like trees, the older are the strong trunks, children their branches, women blossoms, , ancestors the roots, together they all protect each other, support each other and give strength and courage to grow as a whole, ignore the roots and the whole big grown tree falls down, eastern culture still maintains family system, respect the elders, they are not sent to care homes, children used to before the television era began to gather round grandparents for entertainment that made them wise
