-he  was  a  chain smoker, his  weakness  was  smoking, non stop,  pressing  the  last  cigarette  between his  lips  he  would  buy  a  new  packet, though  this  habit  had   destroyed  him, his  health and  money  , emptied  his  pockets  , his  wife   was  heard  grumbling  but  she  never  stopped  him because  that  could  take  him  off  course  , he  could  start  keeping  company  with  others  on the  sly, with  time  his  habit  of  smoking  grew  even  stronger  ,his  condition even  worse
