-lewis camaron is  a  private  detective  who  also  had  served  in the  police  department, he  has  his  own  methods  and  contacts  who  help  him to  solve  cases, one  day  franklin a  wealthy  man  approaches  , his  wife  was  found shot  and  dead  along  with  a  local  priest  sot  and  dead  between  magnolia  trees  in a  park  which  was  half  way  from both  their  residences, the  detective  discovers  a  child  has  seen  something because  children  have  more  access  and  are  naturally  more  curious  and  observe  things  others fail to  see,  and  this  child  tells  him the  man  who  walked  off  with  his  hat  had  a  white  streak  in his  hair
