...when  he arrived a week ago  in this house after ages  at night  he immediately kept his luggage in the drawing room cum guest room,  freshened up and emerged in clean pair of clothes  before sitting down to eat dinner with others  in the hall,  traditional dastarkhwan was spread out on the floor,  there wasn't any table,  just a medium sized table to complete the sofa set , it couldn't be  practically used for dining,  the food wasn't quite  formal,  meal consisted of chana pulao, raita salad kheema alu but for him it was equal to a grand feast, home cooked food is always  tastefully  served,  he had learned to appreciate home cooked food  within the first week of his stay in the hostel,  bad spicy stale  mess meals quickly spoiled his digestion,  he had  come to live in this house only, naturally  formality is quickly dropped  and one is expected to feel free  and comfortable  while eating,  he was a simple  person and didn't fuss about food , he happily  accepted  whatever was  cooked 

What about others  aren't they joining us for the meal just need baji and ali bhai were present at the dastarkhwan with him
