-after  sometime  his  doubts  cleared, in the  light of  the  lantern he  reached   a  door, which  was  shut  but  not  bolted  from within,  voices  of  men  and  women  were  heard  but  the  words  were  not  clearly   understood, he  leaned  against  the  door  to  hear  better,  he  speculated  there  was  light  on the  other  side  of  the  closed  door,  first  he  thought  of  putting  the  light  off  then he  quietly  placed  it  down  on  the  floor  on one  side, then  he  tried  to  identify  the  voices  coming  from inside, one  voice  he  recognized  that  belonged  to  that  old  woman
