The Astrologers

in the  south  forts  of  the  marathas  were  captured  by  aurgzeb"s forces, but  soon after  they  were  recaptured  by  the  marathas  , the  emperor  fell  sick , he  became  bed ridden  and  demoralised, astrologers  were  asked, an elephant  and  a  diamond  were  advised  to  be  donated,
the  emperor  thought  elephants  symbolised hindu  culture  so  he  instead  offered  four  thousand  gold  coins
