when he  was  sure  reagan was  not  going  to  turn up  for  a  while  he  goes  to the  locker  and  opens  it  , twice  it  was  opened  and  shut  to  check  if  it  was  properly  shut, he  placed  a tray with four  corners  attached  to  strings  , when he  locked  it  up  he  saw  reagan come  in ,  not  bothering  to  retunr  his  smile, he  opened  his  locker  and dumped  two  fluffed  up packets  in the  shelf  and  shut  the  drawer  pushing  it  , not  checking  the  second  time  if  it  was  locked  or  not
