...finally  Olivia decided to clean up the house  herself,  it would be satisfying in a way  to clean  Neil's house of the things  that were troubling him to his soul 

Her nephew  Neil's  wife  karen had disappeared a year ago,  her car was found  by the roadside,  with  it's headlights  on and all doors open  but Karen was missing 

Eleven months  passed by  waiting for any kind of her news good or bad,  then Eleven months later  her purse was found by the police   two miles outside the town   near a forest  near a  stream,  Neil's  family almost had come to believe it that Karen was dead  so they arranged a mass in the church 

Olivia was certain  Neil her nephew would   choose to compromise,  perhaps  mourn for a few more days   and then  move on in life  and be alive again 

When  Neil was called up to speak something  about Karen  he stared blankly at her  picture  after five  troubled minutes  he spoke  in a  trembling voice  I remember  you   had said you loved me
