... as the day of celebrating birthday was nearing   sigh was getting  tense,  the post arrived usually  late afternoon  when he would be in the ground   where he spent time  unsuccessfully  playing badminton or football,  wise Akhtar  took round of the ground  at that time,  sagh  would  questioningly  look up at him  , Akhtar  wordlessly would  tell him there was no letter  yet

Sigh celebrated his birthday  in a different manner  altogether,  special  feast was prepared,  two goats were  slaughtered,  baba shah Nawaz didn't  like the concept of cake cutting  but finally everyone convinced him to agree on  letting just one small cake  be placed as a formality on the table  , slices of it were distributed amongst the staff
