--the  advocate saw  to  it  that in the  next  hearing qadir  khan was present  as  witness, he  wanted  himself  be  addressed as  khan sahib because  he  was  a  pakhtun, he  lived  in the  same  building  where  the  accused  lived  and  the  victim,  qadir  khan was in the  apartment  number  four  directly  below  the  accused and  above  the  dead  man, for  four  years  he  had  known the  accused , he  called  him  an  angry  man  who  liked  picking  up  fights, though in all those  years  he  never  had  any  incident  to   mention, so  it  was  time for  the  advocate  to  defend  his  client
