--he  grew up  stealing  small  things,  he  was  not  a  trained  robber  , but  when his  grand  mother  died  he  had  no family  to  stay  with, all he  had  learnt  was  to  pick  pockets  , he  had  to  to  eat  something  , so  turned  full time  pick pocket  and  progressed  in this  line  , one  day  he  picked  up  a  radio  from a  store, he  was  sure  he  was  not  noticed, he  managed  to  slip  out  with  his  radio   to  the  parking  ,  when someone  spoke  behind  him to stop, turning  he  saw  a  street  wise  robber,  not  the  store  detective  or  a  policeman , mustering  enough courage  he  asked  him what  was  his problem, the  streetwise   told  him  he  had  seen him stealing   out  with the  radio, he  wanted  to  talk  privately  in his  car,  the  radio  was  placed  on the  dashboard shelf, the  man  said  if  he  had  been a  real  thief  he  would  definitely  go  for  more  valuable  things  not  such  petty  cheap  stuff,  but  the  punishment  for  small  or  big  things  was   the  same, that  area  belonged  to  him
