--the  short  man  announced  himself  the  inspector  in charge  of  the  case  , he  asked  him in english  if  he  was  the  one  who  had  seen the  dead  body  first, he  congratulated  the  policeman for  speaking  good  english, the  inspector  remarked  he  was  an american  and  had  many  relatives  in chicago  but  he  personally  did  not  like  america, the  other  man  had   at  seven thirty  found  the  dead  man  , as  he  was  leaving  , he  called  the  ambulance  and  the  police  were  informed  , no, he  did  not  touch  the  body  at  all of  mr  arnold
