mulla nasrudin--

-one  fine  day  mulla  nasrudin was  passing  through  a  cowded  market  when someone  hit  him hard  on his  back, turning  angrily  he  saw  a  stranger  who  had  turned  pale  with  fright  , he  had  hit  him believing  him to  be  an old  friend,  mulla  nasrudin took him to  the  court  , the  judge  asked  the  accused  to  pay  the  victim or  get  a  slap  equally  hard  , promising  to  pay  the  fine on gold,   the  man  was  excused  before  the  mulla  who  kept  on stopping  the  accused, but  the  judge  ignored  the  mulla  , the  stranger  never  returned  whose  whereabouts  were  not  noted, mulla  slapped  hard  the  judge  saying  when the  accused  will get  back  with  his  promised  gold  the  judge  could  keep  it  for himself
